Pirates lose swim meet against Clayton

Pattonville fell just 8 points short of a victory at Clayton on Monday, Jan. 13, in a non-conference match-up against the Greyhounds.

The meet held at the Center of Clayton was full of energy according to junior swimmer Allison Van Buren.

“It was very intense,” Van Buren said. “[The score] ended up very close.”

Van Buren was scheduled to participate in the 200 yard medley relay, 100 yard butterfly, 100 yard backstroke and 400 yard freestyle relay.

A previous meet between the two schools found Pattonville edging Clayton out by 2 points.
