Chardon High School shooting

As of Wednesday, Feb. 29, there are three students dead and one still injured from yet another school shooting. The shooter, T.J. Lane, 17, was described by fellow student Nate Muller as a “quiet kid…he just went about his business.”

Lane did not go to Chardon High School. He attended Lake Academy which is for students with academic or behavioral problems.

Lane posted a fairly eerie poem on his Facebook page in December that concluded by saying, “Die, all of you.”

Reports say that Lane entered the cafeteria early in the morning when students were eating breakfast and began shooting. Lane then fled the school as he was chased by a teacher and was apprehended away from the school.

This shooting comes only 2-and-a-half months after a Radford University student shot a police officer on the Virginia Tech campus and then shot and killed himself.
