Class of 2018 visits high school for assembly, activities fair

The Class of 2018 visited the high school on Feb. 6 for the annual 8th grade assembly and activities fair.

Tables were set-up highlighting over 40 clubs, sports and activities. Active members were allowed to attend the fair to answer questions and share information with the 8th graders which included handing them brochures, flyers, try-out information and, of course, candy.

The first group of students arrived in the multi-purpose room at 12:30 p.m. before attending an all-8th grade assembly in the main gym. Students involved in PALs led the activities and special performances were done by the cheerleaders, varsity drill team and band. At the end of the assembly, the second group of students visited the multi-purpose room to view the booths.
