Every year, the middle school bands are given the opportunity to play alongside the high school band in an event called the Parade of Bands.

It’s a musical event where middle school students perform at the high school and also get to see what the high school band is like. This is also a good opportunity to see if band is something the middle school students would like to continue with when they get to the high school level.

“Parade of Bands has been a really fun experience for me in past years,” senior Brendan Hruby said. “When I see the middle schoolers, it reminds me of when I played in middle school. I would definitely recommend students and parents attend.”

During this event, the middle school bands and high school band will perform a couple of songs that they have previously rehearsed separately and then after their separate performances, the bands will come together to perform one song together.

This event is scheduled for Thursday, March 20, at 7 p.m. in the main gym.

When guests arrive, programs will be available to let people know what songs will be played and in what order.
