TEACHERS:  IF YOU HAVE SIGNED UP FOR THE DRIVERS EDUCATION ASSEMBLY TODAY, APRIL 24, your classes will be released to the assembly via an announcement over the intercom early 4th hour.  Please take attendance and wait for the announcement before sending students to the Auditorium.Announcements Logo

 

THE SENIOR ART SHOW is currently on view and is available to the public every day after school in the Auditorium Lobby from 2:15-3:30.  Please, come out and see our talented artists!  The show runs thru Friday, May 16.

 

COLLEGE REP. VISITS:  
  • LINDENWOOD UNIVERSITY will be here today, April 24 at noon.
  • PAUL MITCHELL ACADEMY OF ST. LOUIS will be here tomorrow, April 25 at noon.
To sign up and get a pass, please see Mrs. Patrick in the Guidance Office.  

 

JUNIORS:  The Common Application Boot Camp session scheduled for today, April 24 after school has been cancelled.   

 

THE COMMUNITY SERVICE CLUB will be recycling today, April 24 after school.  STAFF:  Please place your recycling containers in the hallway after school before going to your professional development.

 

NEED MORE FRIENDS, FOOD, AND FUN IN YOUR LIFE?  Come to the JSU meeting today, April 24 right after school at 1:15pm in Mrs. Greenberg’s room, D114.  Enjoy FREE FOOD and AWESOME CONVERSATION with some INSPIRATIONAL PEOPLE.  See you at JSU today.

 

MINORITY ACHIEVEMENT BASKETBALL is today, April 24 in the main gym at 2:30.

 

ATTENTION SOPHOMORES:  Vote for next year’s class officers during lunch tomorrow, April 25 in the main gym lobby.  You must present your student ID to obtain a ballot.

 

COMMUNITY SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES:
  • ATTENTION MARYLAND HEIGHTS RESIDENTS AND/OR FRIENDS:  The 2nd Annual Cleanup will take place Saturday, May 3, from 8:30am -noon at McKelvey Woods Park.  Volunteers are needed. Stop by the CSO for more information.
  • THE 35TH ANNUAL ST. LOUIS SENIOR OLYMPICS, May 22 – May 27, needs many volunteers.  The event is held at the Jewish Community Center.  Stop by the CSO for an application.  Applications are due by May 12.
THE WORD OF THE WEEK IS SUFFICE (suf·fice), which means to be enough or adequate.
The following is a famous line from the poem “Fire and Ice” by Robert Frost:  “I think I know enough of hate/To say that for destruction ice/Is also great/and would suffice”.
