Kampschroeder helps students plan for college

Ms. Julie Kampschroeder talks to a student during an appointment in her office.

Ms. Julie Kampschroeder is the college counselor at Pattonville High School and she helps students with their college or future planning.

“I help students find the right fit college and the right fit depends on what the student want to do in their future.”

Kampschroeder is available to meet with students and many appreciate the time she takes to talk with them.

“Without Ms. Kampschroeder, I would be lost when it comes to college planning,” CJ McDaniel said.

Currently, only juniors and seniors are allowed to make an appointment with Kampschroeder.

“We only accept seniors during first semester,” Kampshroeder said. “And juniors can start making appointments during second semester.”

She did provide advance advice for the freshmen and juniors who are beginning to think about college: “Freshmen should stay out of trouble and do all of their class work because grades will make a huge difference,” Kampshroeder said. “Juniors should start looking for colleges that fit their interests.”
