VIDEO, SLIDESHOW 11 Pattonville students sign athletic scholarships

Eleven Pattonville High School seniors signed to play sports on the college level during National Signing Day on Feb. 3, including two on the 2016 St. Louis Post-Dispatch Super 30 list of top college football prospects in the St. Louis region. Nine of the students signed to play football, while two will play women’s lacrosse.

Signing today were:

Markail Williams (football, University of Northern Iowa) was ranked No. 21 on the Post-Dispatch Super 30 list. Williams was named the division Co-Defensive Player of the Year and earned spots on the All-District team for defense and All-Conference First Team as linebacker.

Jordan Wilkes (football, Missouri State University) was ranked No. 27 on the Post-Dispatch Super 30 list. He was named to the All-District team for defense and All-Conference First Team.

Robbie Barnes (football, Millikin University) was named All-Conference Honorable Mention.

Austin Huls (football, McKendree University)

Lonnie Jordan (football, Garden City Community College)

Freddie Collins (football, Fond Du Lac Tribal Community College)

Josh Jackson (football, Truman State University) was named to All-District team for defense and All-Conference First Team.

Christopher Poindexter (football, Quincy University) was named to All-District team for defense, All-Conference Second Team and All-Conference Honorable Mention.

Nick Preston (football, Missouri Southern State University) was named All-Conference Honorable Mention.

Rachel Schamber (lacrosse, Benedictine College) was recognized as All-Conference Honorable Mention

Amanda Wilson (lacrosse, Concordia University – Chicago)
