All students, except seniors, were faced with the challenging task of choosing their schedules for next year.

“I’ve been thinking about classes I’ve been wanting to take for the past couple of months to make sure I have the right set-up for next year,” sophomore Taityanna Beard said.

Beard was prepared to choose her schedule, but other students were not as organized.

“I am just now figuring out what classes I’m going to take,” junior Breanna Merritt said. “I had a gist for a few, but now I’m winging it.”

These last-minute decisions could be due to confusion of what is needed in order to graduate.

“I’m kind of winging it,” freshman Robert Gibson said. “I knew at least two classes I was going to take though.”

After submitting their schedules, some students realized that next year will be quite stressful. It seems that sophomores have caught the stress bug.

“I’m stressed,” sophomore Victoria Malone said. “I don’t think I’m ready for some of the core classes next year, but I’m sure I can do it.”

Luckily, the soon-to-be seniors are more relaxed about the upcoming school year.

“I’m a little bit stressed because it’s kind of a balance of hard classes and blow-off classes,” Felicity Tso (11) said. “There’s no rhyme or reason to it, it’s just a mosh-posh of whatever sounds cool and for the teachers. But I am excited for next year.”
