Pattonville summer sports camp registration now available

Screen Shot 2016-04-06 at 6.54.51 PMThe last day of high school is May 20 and it’s about time to think about plans for the summer. Registration is now available for Pattonville Summer Sports Camps which there is one for every sport offered at the high school.

“The campers learn the fundamentals and learn ball handling skills,” girls’ basketball coach Lisa Foust. “We also go through speed drills and practice shooting.”

The camps are offered for kindergarteners to incoming seniors, and for the younger kids, they do things differently.

“With the little kids, we teach them the basics of basketball and play games based off of fundamentals.”

Foust said camp is a great way for incoming students and current students to meet the coaching staff.

“It is important for the students to establish a good relationship with their coaches so the student will be able to trust the coach and vise versa,” she said. “Camp is also a great place for students to bond with future teammates and meet people.”

Registration can be done online at http://www.pattonvillecamps.com or registration forms with payment can be mailed to: Pattonville High School, Attn: Athletic Office, 2497 Creve Coeur Mill Road, Maryland Heights, Missouri, 63043
