Hayley Wojciechowski is a junior at Pattonville. She is currently involved with the varsity drill team and junior varsity soccer team. She is very competitive at all competitions with drill team. I asked her 5 questions relating to drill team.

Q: What do you love most about drill team?
A: “Competing against all other schools because we do good at competitions.”

Q: What do you like least about drill team?
A: “All the injuries it gives me.”

Q: Do the coaches make a good effort to keep you guys focused and prepared for what’s ahead of you guys?
A: “Yes, with the season being so long and practicing every day.”

Q: What’s the hardest thing about drill team?
A: “All the practices, we get very tired but we keep our heads up and push ourselves to help get to our goal and learning the dances in a short amount of time.”

Q: What will you miss most about drill team when you graduate in 2013?
A: “Competitions, being with the team and dancing in general.”

After I finished asking her questions, she said with a smile on her face, “I’m glad I chose to do it in high school.”
