Renaissance is sponsoring the 6th annual Taste of Pattonville on March 29 in the high school cafeteria. During this event 30 restaurants from the St. Louis area will be donating 500 food or beverage samples. For $12, individuals can purchase tickets that allow them one sample from each of the 30 restaurants.

In order for this event to take place, many months of preparation are required. This will be Mrs. Beth Moritz’s 5th year planning the Taste of Pattonville event.

“I began sending out letters to restaurants in October last year and then contacted each one in December and January to see if they were interested in participating,” said Renaissance sponsor Moritz.

Not only has Moritz been working on the organization of this event for a long time, many students have as well. There are roughly 50 students helping set up and work the Taste of Pattonville this year whether it is by selling tickets at lunch or organizing the staff for Thursday night.
