Mr. David DeMoss is a math teacher at Pattonville High School. PattonvilleTODAY asked him 5 questions in order to get to know him better.

1. What is something embarrassing that happened to you as a child in school?

“When I was in third grade, I had a red SqueezeIt for lunch (type of drink) and I threw it up all over the floor.”

2. Did you ever have a girlfriend in high school? What was your first date?

“Yes, her name was Alicia. We went to the mall and had Panda Express.

And you married your high school sweetheart?

“Yes, I did.”

3. How did you spend a majority of your time in high school?

“I played three sports: basketball, soccer and volleyball. And I would study for my classes like a good student.”

4. What TV shows and movies did you like as a child? Why?

“MacGyver, that was a TV show about a guy who could make things out of Duct tape and chewing gum. And I would watch the original Star Wars.”

5. What is something you did as a child that would surprise people?

“I spiked my hair all over.”
