5 Questions with…Clint Wipke

Ever wondered what Pattonville’s Positive School was like? Clint Wipke (11) gives some insight about what POZ really is.

What made you want to switch into POZ?
“My grades would sink and rise. Like three would go up, and three would go down. Honestly in POZ, teachers let you work at your own pace so you never really feel like you’re falling behind.

What is your favorite thing about POZ?
“My favorite thing about POZ would probably be knowing that I can stay on top of my grades.”

How are the teachers different there?
“The teachers are more personable, and you actually know your teachers. This makes it a lot easier for them to teach you.”

What’s different about the curriculum?
” It’s not all that different. The work’s all the same, but you can work at your own pace. When you’re not being stressed to do all work in a short time, you tend to not be as likely to give up.”

What are your plans for when you graduate from POZ?
“Possibly two years at Linn Tech or I’ll try to get a job at Ameren UE.”
