Pirates open season with 1-1 tie against Lafayette

Louie Perez (11) scored the first goal of the season for the varsity boys’ soccer team against Lafayette on Friday, Aug. 18, as part of the Northwest/Parkway West Varsity Soccer Tournament. The Lancers were also able to put one goal on the board, and the game ended in a 1-1 tie.

The tournament continues tonight when Pattonville travels to Parkway West to take on Pacific High School. The game starts at 7 p.m.

On Wednesday, the Pirates will conclude the tournament with a game against Timberland High School. That contest is slated for 3:30 p.m. at Parkway West.
