Instagram Bought By Facebook

Instagram Bought By Facebook

Instagram has recently been bought by Facebook for $1 billion.

“I think it is unnecessary that Facebook bought Instagram,” Cortney Brewer, 12 said.  “I think this investment was to only help Facebook.”

Now that Facebook bought Instagram, people can share their pictures from Instagram on Facebook.

“I think it is cool,” Gianna Bergh, 11, said.  “I enjoy being able to share my Instagram pictures on Facebook too.”

While Brewer does not like Instagram being bought by Facebook, she admits that there has not been that much of a change to that app.

“The app hasn’t changed at all,” Brewer said.  “The only change is that it is owned by Facebook.”

Bergh, on the other hand, does not care about Facebook buying Instagram.

“I really could care less,” Bergh said.  “It is a pretty app and there has been no change.”

Although there has been no changes made on the app, people now know how much the app is worth, and neither Bergh nor Brewer are surprised by how much Instagram is worth.

“Instagram is a huge app,” Brewer said.  “I can see it worth being $1 billion, and I can see this app improving even more in the future.”
