Robotics Club participated in the FIRST FTC Qualifier at Meramec

The Pattonville Robotics Club participated in the FIRST FTC Qualifier at Meramec Community College on Saturday, Dec. 9.

Team 2867, Degrees of Freedom, was the Winning Alliance Captain and won 1st place for the Inspire Award.  This advances the team to the State Championship.

They also were awarded 2nd place Design Award, 2nd place Control Award, and 2nd place Connect Award.

Yasaman Mostafavi is a Dean’s List Semi-finalist.

Team 7856, Blood Sweat and Gears, won 1st place for the Control Award.

The sponsor is high school teacher Ms. Sue Mathis. Engineering mentors include Brian Bateman, Charlie Hall, Gary Mathis, Carl Miller, Colin Shipley, Doan Trieu, and Rick Wingerter.
