Moore represents Pattonville track at TCU Relays

The Pattonville track and field team will be having its first varsity meet on March 26 at Lindenwood University, but for junior sprinter Jada Moore, the season started the weekend of March 17.

Moore represented Pattonville in the 67th Annual Texas South University Relays. Moore was honored to be representing Pattonville.

“It was a huge privilege to represent Pattonville at the 4th biggest track meet in the country,” Moore said.

Moore finished 12th out of 173 athletes in the 100 meter dash at the Relays.

“It was a great experience running against some of the best athletes in the country and was really fun,” she said. “This is a great start to the season.”

Moore had an exceptional season last year as a sophomore.  She became the MSHSAA Class 5 State Champion in the open 200 meter dash, placed second in the 100 meter dash and was named to the All-State team.

She hopes to have a strong junior season.

“I had a great year last year, and I hope I can have an even better season this year.”
