Varsity lacrosse is ranked in the Top 10 in the state

Girls’ lacrosse is having a fantastic season this year and they’re finally being recognized in the Missouri Girls Lacrosse MaxPreps rankings for their hard work.

The team (16-3) is currently on a 5-game winning streak and in their last game, defeated rival team Clayton in an incredible 15-5 effort and have blown out many other opponents this season.

This is the team’s fourth year of competing at the varsity level at Pattonville and senior goalie Alexandria Taylor thinks the team has come a long way.

“I really love the lacrosse program this year because it’s the best program I’ve seen yet at our school,” she said. “I’ve been on varsity for four years now, and my freshman year was our first year ever as a varsity program. I think we’ve grown so much since then and I love the girls I play with. I think we have a chance at making it the farthest Pattonville has ever made it in lacrosse.”

The team’s fast development with help of their experienced coach, David DiPasquale, certainly makes the rest of the season something to get excited about.

Catch them on the field April 27 at Visitation High School. The game starts at 4 p.m.
