Robotics qualifies two teams for state championship
The Robotics Club had a lot of success at its FIRST FTC Qualifier on the campus of Saint Louis University on Dec. 8.
There were a total of 20 teams at the competition and teams 2866 Electronauts and 7856 Robot Wranglers qualified for the State Championship to be held in March 2019.
Judges presented 21 awards and Pattonville students went home with 12 of them.
Here is the list of awards:
2866 Electronauts:
- 1st place Inspire Award (this qualified them for state)
- 2nd place Think Award
- 2nd place Motivate Award
- 3rd place Control Award
- 3rd place Innovate Award
- 3rd place Design Award
2867 Degrees of Freedom:
- 1st place Design Award
- 2nd place Control Award
- 3rd place Think Award
7856 Robot Wranglers:
- 1st place Innovate Award
- 2nd place Design Award
- 3rd place Inspire Award (qualified them for state)
