At the METC conference, students and teachers were able to participate in a special area called the Playkerspace that wanted to prove that playing can be a form of learning.

Teacher Jonathon Lee was on-hand to help visitors to the exhibit near the vendor area.

“The point of this is to allow students and teachers to get a feel of the technology through fun and playing around.”

The METC Conference is being held in St. Charles, Missouri, from Feb. 11-13 and more than 1,400 teachers are gathered to get new ideas to make the classroom more fun and interactive for the learners. Teachers and educators from all around Missouri will be gathered at the convention as a collective group to hopefully obtain some new ideas.

It is said that only students can learn from teachers, but that is not the case. They wanted the teachers to see through the perspective of their own students.

“As teachers, it’s usually all about teaching, and not focusing on any fun.”

There are many different ways to teach students.

“Teachers normally overlook the concept of playing to learn.”
