As the 2019-2020 Pattonville Girls’ Basketball Season starts coming to a close, they have had a close season so far this year. Girls’ Basketball is currently 6-7 on the season. Their last game was January 8, and they narrowly lost with a score of 45-41.

Kelsey Mack says that some advice her coach as given her this year is that “I am my competition on the floor.” Although they have had some losses, they try and keep a positive attitude because it affects how they play. While playing at Pattonville, Mack feels “like I have grown over the years and have gotten more confident while playing basketball.”

According to Coach Lewis, Varsity Girls’ Basketball Assistant Coach, “The girls’ basketball team is working hard this season to focus their practice on different plays, sportsmanship, as well as working hard on different routes and strategies to be successful while playing for the rest of the season.”

Their next basketball game will be this Wednesday, January 15, 2020, at 5:30pm at Hazelwood West. Come out and root on the Pirates as they take on the Wildcats.
