Bomb threat

FIRST MESSAGE:

“Around 10:20 a.m., Pattonville High School received a phone call indicating a bomb was in a school locker. The school was immediately evacuated. Pattonville is working with police and fire officials to search the building with bomb-sniffing dogs to make sure it is safe for students to return to classes. Students are in a safe location outside in the stadium waiting for the all clear. We wanted to make you aware of this situation and will contact you once students are back in the building. Thank you.”

SECOND MESSAGE:

“As we mentioned in an earlier call, Pattonville High School was evacuated this morning due to a bomb threat. Police officials brought in bomb-sniffing dogs to search the building and fortunately found nothing suspicious. At 11:30 this morning, police and fire officials concluded their search and gave us clearance for students to return to classes. Classes will continue as normal for the remainder of the day. We are thankful students were never in any danger and we commend our students and staff for their patience during this matter. We will continue to work with police to investigate the matter and deal with the person responsible through any legal means possible. Thank you.”
