Every year, Pattonville Geology classes go on a spelunking trip to Fisher Cave. Unlike Meramec Caverns, Fisher Cave doesn’t have built-in lights or a tram to ride in through the cave. Here, students see bear claw marks from the 1800s, stalagmite and stalactites over 30 feet tall, and maybe even a bat or two.
Today, students prepared to take that field trip and a photo slideshow will be posted once they get back.
