New Year. New Team. Same Expectations.

While fall sports are coming to a close, winter sports are starting up. Last year’s varsity girls’ basketball team went 22-4.

“(I expect new comers to) play hard, compete, and win a spot if that’s what they want to do. (Also) to push each other,” says the head coach for girls’ basketball, Craig Gregory.

“We should be over .500, compete for the Conference Championship and win District.”

Tryouts for girls and boys teams start on Monday, October 29, 2012, right after school. To tryout, players must have a physical form and a blue paper filled out. Go see Coach Gregory, Coach Thames, or Coach Ivie for these forms.
