Here are a few comments Carey had to say about this nomination:

Q.) How do you feel about being nominated?

A.) It’s a great honor; I like being recognized for all the hard work I put myself through.

Q.) How is your spring sport going?

A.) Really good! I love PVS (Pattonville Varsity Soccer) and I’m positive that we are on our way to State!

Q.) Why do you think you were nominated?

A.) I’m really fast so that’s unique about me and stands out. I’ve been playing soccer all myself, and that’s probably why.

Q.) What does this nomination mean to you?

A.) It’s always nice to be recognized for something, but I’m more focused on improving my team than anything I could ever do individually. My team is everything to me!

Q.) What do you have to say to PHS readers?

A.) Go vote now before it’s too late!
