THE WORD OF THE WEEK IS JUXTAPOSE (jukta·poz).
JUXTAPOSE is a verb, and it means “to place or deal with close together for contrasting effect.”
Juxtapose comes from juxtaposition which comes from the Latin word juxta meaning “near”, and the English word position, meaning “to put together.”
In the display I will juxtapose modern art with classical art.
