PHS Varsity Drill Team will be hosting a clothing sale this weekend on Friday, Oct. 2, and Saturday, Oct. 3.  Name brand clothes will be up to 50 percent off including Nike, Under Armour, Majestic, and many more. Sports teams and college clothing includes St. Louis Cardinals, St. Louis Blues, and Mizzou.

“It helps us pay for our choreographer and many other expenses we have,” drill team Coach Katie Funderburk said. “We get 7 percent of the proceeds back to the program.”

The sale is a main fundraiser for VDT and attracts many people from around the community.

The girls have to help those who come to the sale.

“We help answer questions and re-organize stuff,” senior team member Katelynn Maierhoffer said. “We also help people find the things they are looking for.”

The sale begins at 2:30 p.m. and ends at 6 p.m. on Friday. It will start 8 a.m. and end at 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Clothing items are limited so once it’s gone, it’s gone.

Also being sold are blankets and other novelty items.  The sale is being held in the multipurpose room near the gym at the high school.
