Mr. Baker, Choir
Mr.Baker is a choir teacher here who is new to PHS, but he is coming to Pattonville with 23 years total years of experience. This is his fourth year in the Pattonville district; he is moving to the high school from Pattonville Heights.
Before Pattonville, Mr. Baker worked at McCluer North High School. He got his undergraduate degree from Murray State University and his masters degree from Webster University. He also has done some post-graduate work at Lindenwood. He is originally from Kentucky but has been here since 1996.
Mr. Baker has 2 dogs, both pitbulls, Puck and Lucas. He’s excited to be at the high school, explaining he “needed a change from my last job and Mrs. Lamb is a close friend of mine and I wanted to work with her.” He is adjusting to PHS well, claiming, “I’m loving it here. It’s very different than the middle school, but that’s not a bad thing. We get to do so much more with high school singers and it is so very rewarding.”
The quote that Mr. Baker lives by is “always be kind and work hard.”
