Football players honor teachers

Varsity football players selected teachers to honor on Sept. 21 as part of the Renaissance program.

In a way for student-athletes to thank teachers for all they do, the football players gave their jersey to a favorite teacher to wear during the day.

In the morning, students met teachers in the gym for a group picture. At the game tonight, teachers will again be honored.

The Pirates host McCluer tonight at 7 p.m. at Pattonville Stadium.
