Any time students decide something that will impact their future, it can stress a person out.
2014-2015 Course Description Book
Stop Day at Pattonville High School is created so a student can choose their classes for the next school year. Due to inclement winter weather, Stop Day had to be rescheduled to Jan. 24 from the original date of Jan.21.
Students are required to fill seven slots a semester, most choosing four core classes and three electives, with two alternates if they don’t get what they originally want.
Junior Jake Donaldson said, “I enjoy Stop Day because I like to choose my future classes.”
Many students choose their classes based on what profession they want to go into.
Donaldson said he was looking at biology classes because he is interested in going into the engineering field.
This year there are many new classes available for students such as Introduction to Sports Medicine, Aquatic Fitness and Lifeguarding, Photojournalism, and Mythology.
