UPDATE: Mr. PHS has been rescheduled for Thursday, Feb. 26, at 7 p.m. Tickets that were previously purchased should be used for the new date. Tickets will also be sold at the door for $5.
It was Friday night. Mr. PHS was about to begin. The weather forecast was calling for sleet and dangerous road conditions. And then the show was canceled.
About 10 minutes before the curtain was to go up, assistant principal Ms. Cara Hiripitiyage and NHS sponsor Mr. Ryan Brueckmann talked about postponing the event.
“Mr. PHS was canceled because it was snowing and sleeting,” Brueckmann said.
He will meet with activities coordinator Mr. Bob Hebrank and check the calendar for a possible make-up date.
“I hope that the rescheduled date will hopefully come out later today.”
