Junior Madison Duello walked her schedule with her brother, freshman Alex Duello, last week after picking it up at registration.
That proved to be pointless for Madison.
When she picked up her official schedule in the gym on the first day of school, her classes had changed.
“I was disappointed because I had a class with a teacher I like and my friends were in my classes,” Madison said about the change in her history and algebra classes. “I had already bought my supplies and wrote the name of the teacher on them.”
According to an email from counseling department chair Ms. Trudy Steins, the reason for the changes in schedules is because there were a lot of new enrollees to the school resulting in enrollment in many classes to be unbalanced.
