It wasn’t Halloween or even Friday the 13th, but Monday made people in the St. Louis area feel very uneasy.

Some students like Kinzi Boyer said they felt nervous for the solar eclipse on August 21.

“I’m scared for the eclipse because I think animals are going to go wild, and what if I go blind because I am really tempted to look at the eclipse?”

Many people seemed fearful, but others enjoyed the excitement of the day.

“I’m not scared because scientists know exactly what is going to happen,” Isabella Monahan said. “An eclipse has happened before. We know about them. I’m just not going to be the first person to look up when something does happen.”
