Kasprzyk qualifies for state swimming championships

Joseph Kasprzyk (12) is the lone senior on the 400 free relay team that qualified for the Missouri swimming and diving state championships. Swimmers Austin Goettsch (10), Chaska Cox-Potter (10) and Philip Tso (10) complete the team that will compete in the meet that will be held at the St. Peters Recreation Center on Nov. 2-4.
Overall, nine athletes qualified for the state championships from Pattonville:

Lorsbach: What is your favorite stroke?
Kasprzyk: Probably the breast stroke.
Lorsbach: How long have you been swimming?
Kasprzyk: 4 years competitively on the Pattonville team.
Lorsbach: What is your favorite school to swim against?
Kasprzyk: Kirkwood because they are so much better, and so we don’t take it seriously.
Lorsbach: What else are you involved in?
Kasprzyk: Chess club; people should join! It’s held in Room B116 on Wednesdays.
Lorsbach: Why do you swim?
Kasprzyk: It’s fun to swim with my team and I can eat more food.
Lorsbach: What do you hope to improve on?
Kasprzyk: I have no weaknesses.
