Foreign language teacher Ms. Stephanie Frerker won the Pirate Code Staff Member of the Week for Jan. 8-12.

“I feel excited because I really enjoy recognizing students who are doing the right thing,” she said, “and it’s always great to get a gift card.”

Frerker had the choice between a $10 gift card to Panera, QuikTrip or Chipotle and chose Panera.

Senior Jillienne Hayes was given the winning Pirate Code ticket last semester after a class with Frerker.

“Jillienne helped me clean up after a culture activity during class.”

Every week, a different Pirate Code Staff Member of the Week will be selected from Pirate Code tickets that students have turned in.
