Donnie Henderson II bowled a perfect 300 game during a doubles tournament.

Freshman Donnie Henderson II (9) bowled a perfect 300 game while participating in a doubles tournament with his teammate, junior Joseph Scherer.

Henderson was bowling his last game in the doubles match on Jan. 27 when he accomplished the 300 game which is a perfect score.

“I felt relieved, excited, and also very shocked because I didn’t know I had the potential to do something like that,” Henderson said.

He entered the tournament with an average of just 155. Since he nearly doubled his normal score, he was very emotional afterward and everyone there was extremely happy for him.

The final results of the tournament will come out after this weekend since it is the last time to participate in it.

A lot of good bowlers, and even professional bowlers have yet to accomplish what Henderson did.

“Now that I have scored a 300, I am more focused on developing my game so that I can play in different tournaments against good competitors.”

It takes a lot of great skill to get a perfect game, and Henderson has done well for himself in his first year of bowling with the high school team.
