The annual Mr. PHS pageant presented by the National Honors Society will put male upperclassmen against each other to compete for the title on Friday, Feb. 23, at 7 p.m. in the Auditorium.

Tickets are $5.00 each and are on sale in the Commons during all lunch sessions and will also be sold at the door.

The participants come from different school organizations such as clubs and sports.

The contestants will first perform a dance and be introduced to the audience during the fashion portion of the contest when they are walked out on stage with an escort. The guys will then get to show off in the talent portion followed by a question and answer segment. The judges will narrow the field down and the finalists will answer one more question on-stage before they determine who will receive the crown.

Senior class president Yohanes Mulat is competing in Mr. PHS for the second time.

“It’s gonna be a lot of fun,” Mulat said. “I’ve got some good competition, but I’m not nervous. I know I’m gonna pull through with the dub this year.”

Tickets will be $5 for entry and will be sold during lunches or at the door. Come see who will be crowned Mr. PHS on Friday, Feb. 23, at 7 p.m. in the auditorium.
