Last year, five seniors graduated and left the boys volleyball team with huge holes to fill. During tryouts there was a lot of competition to get on the varsity team and pick up where the 2018 team left off.

The final roster was announced and the boys on the team are now looking to continue the team’s success from last year when they finished with a final record of 20-11-1 and became 2-time District champions.

The Pirates opened their competitive season with a jamboree on Wednesday as they downed Northwest and St. Mary’s.

Pattonville will now play their season-opener at home against Westminster Christian Academy on Friday, March 15. Freshman and Junior Varsity will start at 4:15 p.m. and Varsity will start at 5:30 p.m.

The 2019 varsity team consists of 11 players. There are:

William Polster (12), Cole Cwiklowski (12), Zachary Elmore (12), Trevor Vigus (12), Landon Chan (11), Jack Goetz (11), Rodney Wallace Jr. (11), Nathan Moser (11), Ryan Gross (10), Cole Schuler (10), and Quentin Bartlett (10).
