Pirate Pete’s Closet hosts Prom Fashion Show during all lunches
April 17, 2019
There was a fashion show during all lunch hours on April 17 showcasing some of the prom dresses available for loan from Pirate Pete’s Closet.
There are about 80 dresses available for free that students can pick from to wear to prom.
Alexus Blount served as one of the announcers and models of the dresses during the show.
“You shouldn’t feel bad for coming to get a dress because we all have money issues, and if you can’t afford a dress, don’t miss out on the fun of the dance,” she said. “Just borrow a dress.”

The available dresses have all been donated and range in sizes from 0 to 20. If a student is interested in borrowing a dress from Pirate Pete’s Closet, they should make an appointment with their counselor to arrange a fitting.

Hi I am a former student and just learned about Pete’s Closet, I still have dresses I wore to homecoming and prom and was wondering if I was able to donate them even though I am no longer a student? If so can I bring them up at any time or would I have to make an appointment?

Yes, donations can be made at the high school. Let them know the dresses are for Pete’s Closet.
