Ms. Ulses – English

We have several talented new staff members here at Pattonville, and among them is English teacher, Ms. Ulses. This is her first job, but she decided that she wanted to teach at the age of 16. Ms. Ulses has one dog and was born here in St. Louis, Missouri. She decided to teach at Pattonville because she said, “I knew that Pattonville had an amazing and supportive staff. I wanted to surround myself with this environment.”

If she wasn’t a teacher, she said she’d be a novelist, and her favorite quote is, “If you’re always trying to be normal you will never know how amazing you can be.” -Maya Angelou. Her two favorite hobbies include writing and reading.

If she could give any advice to her high school self, she said the following, “I found this question rather hard because I feel like everything that has happened in my life, good or bad, has brought me to where I am. Anyway, some advice that I would give my high school self is ‘I know that everything seems hard right now but you will get through it, you will aspire, and you will become stronger than you ever thought possible. Enjoy life and know that so many good things are ahead.’”
