Why did you choose to teach the subject/class that you teach?
- “I chose to teach English Learners because I loved learning Spanish when I was in high school and I studied linguistics in college. It seemed like a perfect fit for me, and it was!”
Have you taught at any schools before Pattonville? If so, where, and how long?
- “Yes! I just moved here from Washington, DC, where I was teaching in a middle school in Arlington, VA. I taught there for 8 years before coming here.”
What would students be surprised to find out about you?
- “I still get nervous about speaking in front of people. The first day of school is always a little scary for me.”
