Why did you choose to teach English and Journalism?
- “My undergrad degree is in Journalism/Theater. I have taught theater in the past, and I found that Theater and Journalism aren’t that common of a position, so I got certified in English, which happens to go hand in hand with Journalism.”
Have you taught at any schools before Pattonville? If so, where, and how long?
- “I taught English and theater in Indonesia for 3 years, moved to Saint Louis, went back to school for my master’s, and taught at Confluence Academy and Grand Center Arts Academy.”
What made you want to teach?
- “I graduated from Concordia, which was a teaching school, without a teaching degree. I realized that that was something I wanted to do. So I went back to school to get certified and a teaching degree.”
