What made you become a Special School District Teacher?
- “Always loved working with students, especially with students who need more support. I started a program at North Tech that was strictly special ed and enjoyed every bit of it.”
What made you want to teach?
- “Teachers had a very big influence on my life. We all have our struggles or ups and downs, had a pretty rough childhood, and if it weren’t for the teachers that had an influence on my life, I wouldn’t be here where I am today, and I hope to do the same for the students today.”
What would students be surprised to find out about you?
- “I worked on a platform in a gulf in Mexico for a couple of years, and I have a pacemaker.”
