Allison McNamera
Allison McNamera is a new Spanish teacher for PHS. She just moved to St. Louis from Arizona where she previously taught.
Why did you choose to teach the subject/class that you teach?
- “Mr. Bailey was my high school Spanish teacher. He helped me through many hardships and challenges in high school and I decided that I wanted to do the same for other students. So I decided to become Mr. Bailey.”
What would students be surprised to find out about you?
- “I love to swim with sharks! I have been scuba diving and free diving with sharks since I was little. Growing up in Hawaii was awesome!
If you could pass on any wisdom to your students, what would you share?
- “The wisdom I would pass on to students is to remember to breathe. Sometimes life gets going pretty fast and you just need to take a second to just recenter, calm down and breathe before you continue.”
