With winter slowly approaching, there are so many activities to explore. Here are five things to do around STL this winter.
First and foremost, Winter Wonderland is located in Tilles Park. It will open back up on Nov. 22, and run through Dec. 30. You can ride in your car listening to Christmas music and see the Christmas lights throughout the park. Family vehicles are $20 to enter. This is a popular attraction so be prepared for traffic!
For a regional classic, see the Wild Lights at The Saint Louis Zoo. Tickets range from $12 to $15. They also have sensory-friendly nights for $10. The Wild Lights feature lights, zoo attractions, festive menus, and more.
The next activity would be going to visit Candy Cane Lane. This is a St. Louis Hills neighborhood where the residents go all out and decorate their houses and lawns. People are invited to drive and walk through the neighborhood to see their displays. This activity is free but they do take donations.
Ice skating is another activity that is great for the winter season. Steinberg Skating Rink (located in Forest Park) is a great place. For admission prices and other info, go to their website. They officially open on Nov. 15. They also offer season passes (Nov. 15 – March 1, 2025).
The last winter activity would be attending a hockey game to cheer on our very own St. Louis Blues! Tickets are offered in different price ranges and home games are played at the Enterprise Center.
