Melisa Murillo is a new math teacher at Pattonville High School. This is her first year at Pattonville and her first year teaching.
Why did you come to Pattonville? “I heard a lot about Pattonville and how great the students and staff are, and when I saw that there was an opening, I thought it was kind of like a sign.”
If you could pass on any wisdom to your students, what would you share? “ I think study groups are a really big help and very beneficial at the high school level.”
How would you like your students to remember you? “I definitely want them to remember the math that I teach them (how awesome it is and how they’re gonna use it all the time), but definitely just how much fun we have in [class].”
