Sports Weekend Recap
November 26, 2012
This weekend, St. Louis sports had an OK showing. The St. Louis Rams dominated the Arizona Cardinals late. With the Cardinals taking an early lead, the Rams came back with the help of the defense and mostly Janoris Jenkins. With Jenkins returning two interceptions for touchdowns, he really helped the Rams come out on top, 31-17.
The Mizzou Tigers football team continued to struggle, this time against the Texas A&M Aggies, getting demolished with help of Johnny Manziel, the prime Heisman Award contestant. The final was 59-29.
On the other hand, Mizzou basketball improved its record to 5-1 with a win against Virginia Commonwealth and Stanford, but a loss to No. 2 ranked Louisville.
Mizzou is currently ranked at the top in the SEC, its new conference.
