Captain Lauren Barton sets up the ball in order to make a pass up the field after the other team got a foul. Barton has been one of the star players on the team, not only because of her defensive skills but also because she is always positive for the team, even when times get stressful. “My favorite part about having only one team is that everyone’s not divided and we don’t discriminate as much because we are all on the same team,” Barton said. Senior captain Tamia Dockett agrees with her, stating, “My favorite part about having one team is how we all are getting to know each other faster as a team; having two teams makes it take longer to have a connection like we have now.”
