The Music Man is a musical hitting Pattonville from Feb. 16-19. Written by Meredith Wilson in 1957, The Music Man centers around a con man by the name of Harold Hill. Harold plans to pose as a boy marching band director who convinces the town that they need a boy marching band and informs them that he can teach their kids how to march in exchange for money to buy the instruments and uniforms, but then skip town before the instruments and uniforms arrive.
This, however, isn’t Pattonville’s first time doing The Music Man. According to Mrs. Corvera, the director of the show, it was done about 11 to 12 years ago.
The leads Harold Hill and Marian Paroo are being played by Evan Fornachon and Anna Pirrie, respectively.
Tickets will be on sale during lunch and at the door before the show. The show will start at 7 p.m., with the exception of Sunday, which will be at 2 p.m.
