Ever feel like you pay too much for your lunch here at Pattonville High School?
The other day after buying my $2.00 chicken sandwich and $1.50 Gatorade, I realized I paid $3.50 for just two items. As I was eating my not-so-cheap, not-so-great cafeteria food, the thought came to me: you could go to McDonald’s and buy an even tastier chicken sandwich for $1.00, a bag of fries for $1.00 and a large soda for $1.00. You can get more food for less money than what school charges you.
I think that school should give us cheaper food or give us the chance to go off-campus and buy food that is cheaper! I don’t know about you, but I am a little tired of paying for over-priced chicken sandwiches that I’m not even going to enjoy eating very much.
